Each week, the dedicated Lifestyle Team provide a variety of imaginative activities carefully tailored to match the residents’ interests and abilities. The team will use individual ‘Life Stories’ as a way of gathering information to help us create those activities and provide the stimulation needed to add fun and enrich the residents’ lives. A few of such activities include: 1-to-1 reminiscence, complete the saying, dance minds, board games, daily news, creative minds and gentle fun exercises.

Eating Well

Daily, the fabulous chefs use local produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, home-cooked meals for residents. Meals are nutritionally balanced and designed to meet the dietary needs of those in later life. Layston Grove can also support specific requirements such as; vegetarian, diabetic, soft diets etc. Additional food is available throughout the day in the form of fruit, snacks and sweet treats.
