Jubilee House Care Home Trust is a charity providing support for adults and children with a learning disability. We support them and their families. Currently Jubilee support around 120 people each year through a wide range of care services. They support people with learning disabilities by empowering them to live their lives their way. They provide individually tailored care and support through a wide range of services for both adults and children. Jubilee House is a unique organisation within their hub in Welwyn Garden City they provide services to North London Boroughs, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Buckinghamshire.
With over 40 years of experience providing personalised support and care to people with learning disabilities. Jubilee House works with both local authorities and families directly. The high quality services and facilities are designed to maximise opportunities and enable individuals or service users to live the life they choose.
Jubilee House offers:
Adult Short Breaks
Adults Short Breaks provide the opportunity to have fun, enjoy new experiences, meet new friends, while taking a break from everyday life. This eases the pressure on families, enabling them to also have the opportunity to rest, relax or take a break or holiday.
Child Short Breaks
Short Breaks are for children and young people with learning disabilities from ages 5 - 18. This provides the opportunity to enjoy new experiences, have fun, and make new friends, giving the child or young person a break from their everyday routine whilst easing the pressure on parents and carers, enabling them to also have a break.
After School, Weekend & Holiday Activities
Jubilee House provide services for young people with learning disabilities to access activities based in the community or at Peartree Short Break Centre. Young people have the opportunity to enjoy new experiences, have fun and make new friends, giving the child or young person a break from their everyday routine. This is for young people up to the age of 18.
At Jubilee House Care Trust we provide person centered support to empower individuals to live happy and fulfilled lives. Staff are enthusiastic, highly trained and dedicated to providing the best opportunities for people with learning disabilities to live the life they choose and achieve their goals. Care is in modern well equipped buildings that provide a stimulating, varied and comfortable living space with a relaxed atmosphere.
The Supported Living scheme supports adults who have learning disabilities. Support is provided from 1 hour a week to 24 hours a day, according to the individuals needs. People are given the choice to live independently in their own home or in shared accommodation with others. Everyone in the Supported Living scheme feels safe, supported and relaxed in their home. Current tenants share a well equipped home with communal living areas. Each have their own tenancy agreement with a housing provider and we provide support for learning and social opportunities through an individualised support plan.

- Meeting new people and making friends
- Going to hospital and doctor appointments
- Dealing with strangers
- Choosing where to live and tenancy agreements
- Cleaning the home and being a good neighbour
- Travel training
