Primary School in Hatfield
Howe Dell's ethos and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens. We include children actively in wide ranging weekly themes for assemblies to promote our school values. This is reinforced with linked Music of the Week and a moment of reflection. An example here shows how British Values and School ethos both recognise the uniqueness of 'Britishness' but also how equality and respect has been fought for through international role models.
Head's welcome to Howe Dell Primary School.
We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. We believe at Howe Dell that every child matters, every day: childhood is not a dress rehearsal and our priority is for our pupils to love learning through a broad and balanced curriculum which is exciting and constantly developing. We are incredibly proud of receiving 2 OUTSTANDING Ofsted reports in 2017 for our Howe Dell family, one for Day Care and the second for our School. This is due to the exceptional provision offered to develop every child within and beyond lessons, to create life long learners. Our families support the School staff and governors in always putting the needs of our children first.
For further information please see the school's website. This aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils. It aims to celebrate exciting learning and reinforce the opportunities for parents, carers and the wider community to work in partnership with staff.
