Opuz Kitchen | Turkish restaurant in Hemel Hempstead

Turkish cuisine in Hemel Hempstead with a modern twist

When you visit Opuz Kitchen in Hemel Hempstead you’ll enter a world of a contemporary Turkish restaurant pushing traditional boundaries. This is done in new, amazing and in exciting ways. The chef challenges outdated preconceptions of kebab shops by creating dishes which draw inspiration from both his own extensive culinary travels and London's diverse and world class restaurant scene.

About us

Opuz Kitchen's sleek and chic interiors are smart enough for City lunches whilst remaining casual and reasonably-priced enough to enjoy splashing out London-style on your own time and dime. Centre stage is the kitchen-bar complete with stone oven and charcoal grill, where you can relax and experience the pure theatre of the Turkish kitchen as your meal is prepared before your very eyes.

The menu combines traditional Turkish-Mediterranean cuisine with fine dining flourishes and fusion riffs – think sumac and pomegranate martinis, exotic breads with Medjool date butter and inventive, rose-tinted desserts among its sophisticated offerings.

Our discreet and knowledgeable staff are on hand to explain the menu and help you feel relaxed and informed about your choices, while lastly (though most certainly not least) Opuz Kitchen focuses strongly on staff welfare, exemplary training and a fair tipping policy.

Celebrate with us
