The Boat is one of the most popular pubs in Berkhamsted for food and drink. The fresh dishes are prepared daily using superb seasonal ingredients sourced from an array of local suppliers. Menus here are always ever-evolving and change on a regular basis to reflect the season. There is always a new delicious food surprise to discover at The Boat in Berkhamsted. The pub offers a wide range of signatures dishes too. 

Friday Dining

Every Friday evening the Head Chef exclusively selects some great fish dishes.  The Boat insists it takes taste personally and that 'Every dish is a signature dish', this also means they have the freedom to put their stamp on every dish. See more on The Boat website. 

Drinks at The Boat

When it comes to the drinks list, every taste is catered for. There is a great range of Fuller's beers, plus a rotating list of fantastic craft beers from the likes of Tring and Haresfoot breweries, and a collection of superb wines, spirits and coffees too.

Private Events

The function room is a great space for meetings. If you are interested in hiring the function room for special occasion or for clients then please contact the Boat for further details. Lunch or dinner in these special surroundings is something else.

Pie Tuesdays

Grab yourself a delicious handmade pie and a drink for just £12! Pies are made using Shortcrust pastry and only the finest ingredients. They are perfect with some spuds, vegetables and gravy. Then, you can choose from a thirst-quenching pint of tasty beer or a delicious glass of La Tordera DOC Prosecco!

Wine Down Wednesdays
