Recently the Comet Hotel in Hatfield underwent a multi-million pound refurbishment. The iconic building has been refurbished for the modern age making London Hatfield a truly fabulous hotel. The hotel is now a luxurious and modern with period features and a refined glamorous look. 

History of the Hotel

The hotel first opened in 1936. It is a Grade II Listed Art Deco building and was named after the locally built de Havilland Comet racing plane. The hotel has now been extensively remodelled and was relaunched in 2019. The sky is still the limit for the Comet Hotel.

Rooms & Suites 

The rooms and suites combine comfort and considered design to give you the best possible stay. The Comet Hotel in London Hatfield boasts a total of 65 guest rooms for the discerning traveller. The new wing houses 52 deluxe rooms, while the original Comet building houses a further 7 deluxe rooms along with 4 Executive Rooms and 2 Suites.

Meetings & Events 

The Comet Hotel understands the importance of getting things right. The meeting rooms combine comfort, elegance and practicality to ensure that your business event, conference or presentation runs perfectly. Bathed in natural daylight, both of our event spaces boast all of the comfort and technology for an unparalleled meeting experience. Each room features power and data in the centre of a boardroom table, linked to a large TV screen for ease of connectivity and to maximise your presentations.

The Grosvenor: At 37m2, The Grosvenor can accommodate up to 20 seated guests in a boardroom plan on the ground floor.

The Havilland: Covering 31 m2, The Havilland is situated on the First Floor at the front of the building, and can accommodate up to 14 people in a boardroom setting.

Private dining is available in the restaurant and private hire of the Element Bar can be arranged to your requirements. On-site parking is free of charge for all delegates.
