Rooms

Spencer Restaurant

Overlooking the beautiful parkland, the Spencer Restaurant is open for dinner bookings every day. The hotel also offers its guests the perfect environment in which to relax and indulge in the delights of morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. The lounge menu is served daily from 11am and can be enjoyed in the bar, lounges or outside. Whether you are celebrating a birthday or an anniversary or simply treating loved ones the Spencer Restaurant at Offley Place promises to delight. The talented team of Chefs strive to use only the freshest ingredients from locally sourced suppliers wherever possible. The Spencer Restaurant has been enhanced by the addition of the Conservatory. Perfect setting from which to enjoy the beauty that surrounds the house, the combined dining space created by the Conservatory and Spencer Restaurant is truly unique. Why not take your pre dinner drinks in the bar or relax on the comfy sofas by the open fire in the Winter months, a real favourite! The chefs are more than happy to cater to individual dietary requirements, so please do not hesitate to contact the hotel regarding this. Children are also welcome and can enjoy from the main menu or alternatively they may select a dish from the children’s menu.

Sunday Lunch

A Sunday lunch in Offey Place country house hotel is the perfect way to end your weekend. You can stroll around the gardens, sit down to a delicious 2 or 3 course lunch, complete with all the trimmings, before collapsing into one of the comfy sofas in the luxurious lounges. In the winter months there are open fire places to keep you warm. The menu is regularly updated to ensure that the freshest seasonal ingredients and best cuts of meat from local suppliers are used.

Afternoon Tea

Afternoon Tea is a ritual introduced in the early 1840s amongst British aristocracy. It evolved as a mini meal to stem the hunger and anticipation of an evening meal at 8pm. Nowadays, afternoon tea is usually enjoyed as an occasional luxury for the British or a treat in a country house hotel or perhaps to celebrate a birthday or special occasion. At Offley Place, they like to uphold this timeless British tradition, where they offer their guests the perfect environment to relax and indulge in the pleasures of homemade cakes, scones, pastries, tarts and sandwiches, we well as a selection of all your favourite teas. Whether you are celebrating a birthday, an anniversary or simply treating a loved one, afternoon tea at Offley Place promises to delight. Afternoon Tea at Offley Place is served in the restaurant and lounge areas on Thursdays - Saturdays from 1.00pm until 5.00pm and Sunday's from 3.00pm until 5.00pm subject to availability. For bookings of over 10+ people the hotel requires a non-refundable deposit to secure your table. 24 hours notice is required for all bookings.

Weddings

Dreaming of your big day? Searching frantically for your perfect Wedding venue? Unsure of where to start? Don't panic...Offley Place are available to help every step of the way. Their dedicated wedding team will support you from day one. They will begin with a show round of the venue, a look around a selection of bedrooms, discuss your ideas and plans and answer any questions you may have. Within 48 hours they will create a bespoke quotation for you. After your first initial show round, they can then provisionally hold the date you'd like. During this time, you will need to contact Stevenage registrars to ensure they can attend this date as well. You will also need to decide whether you are going to choose the exclusive or nonexclusive option which will be explained to you on your show around. Then the planning begins and the hotel can help you with photographers, cake suppliers, photo booths, make up artists, wedding cars and even magicians if needs be.

Salusbury Lounge

The cosy, comfortable lounge is situated just inside the main house to the right hand side. The lounge can hold up to 30 guests so whether you're looking for a function space for a baby shower, a birthday party, a conference or even just a nice drink by the fire the lounge is the perfect space to host your event. Private dining is also available in this lounge.

The Conservatory

The beautiful conservatory offers a traditional meeting modern feel. The conservatory is a very light and airy room located within the main house boasting views across the parkland. From 30 to 200 guests our conservatory and adjoining Spencer Restaurant delivers the perfect party venue. These function rooms have seen many fantastic events over the years from intimate family gatherings to grand celebrations.

The Rose View Suite

The Rose View Suite is a self-contained suite just outside the main house. The Rose View has its own private garden and decking area with further access to the rose gardens. The Rose View has a fully stocked bottle bar, cloakroom and main room which can hold up to 50 people for a sit-down meal or up to 80 people for a buffet.

The Hughes Lounge

The Hughes lounge is situated just inside the main house to the left hand side. This lounge can also hold up to 30 guests and is suitable for more intimate events. Private dining is also available in this lounge.

The Hester Ballroom

Seating up to 250 people this function room is the perfect venue for your event. Whether you're looking for a celebration for a large number of guests or even your school prom the Hester Ballroom offers the ideal space for you.
