Bridge Club

Bridge Club is every Thursday at 3pm. Sharpen your skills or learn how to play. The session is led by an experienced Bridge Tutor, Steve Lipman. Single player or pair, just turn up, there's free parking and free tea, coffee and biscuits.

Shabbat at Elstree View

Shabbat is every Friday at 5pm. During the autumn and winter months the Shabbat Service is led by a group of Volunteers from The Liberal Synagogue Elstree. During the spring and summer months the Shabbat service is led by Rabbi Hoch from Chabad of Borehamwood and Elstree. As much as Shabbat may be an opportunity for families to spend time together, it is also a chance to enjoy the company of extended family and community in a relaxed homely atmosphere.

Memory Café

On the first and third of every month from 10.30am - 12.30pm the care home has a Memory Cafe. This gives people living with memory loss or dementia, and their carers, the opportunity to meet regularly with other people in similar situations. Whether you are someone who has been diagnosed with the early stages of memory loss or you are caring for someone with memory loss, the Memory Café has been created to help you. The Memory cafe includes exercises, arts and musical therapy.

Nutritious Home Cooked Food

The food at Elstree View Care Home is superb. All the food is designed to meet the unique nutritional needs of older adults. The expert chefs use fresh, tasty ingredients in traditional, favourite recipes.
