The Rooms

Also, solar heated assisted hot water, disabled facilities with lift to the 1st floor. En-suites with under floor heating, solar powered Velux roof light blinds, hair dryer, Continental ‘anytime’ self service breakfast, smoking restrictions and no pets policy. Off road free parking is available. Experience the fun in the guest only American diner. Advice given on good local dining establishments with Morgan 3 and 4 wheel hire cars available. The Diner

Is an interesting and exciting large kitchen designed by Ron Garner in the USA. The Pit Stop owners wanted to capture the American style diner and mix it with the British style cafes found in the 1950 /1960’s. One of the most famous is the Ace cafe on the North Circular Road, N.W. London. The kitchen’s three windows overlooking the Morgan Square courtyard were saved when the original 1905 built Morgan factory building was demolished in 2004. The Morgan Company had vacated these premises and moved down to the new Pickersleigh Road premises in 1924. The windows were completely taken apart and restored to their former glory. Original Morgan Company steel lampshades saved from their old stores and refinished in Morgan corsa red compliment the racy theme. The chairs and bar stools were imported from the USA, whilst the large table and bench seating were made in-house. For added fun, there's an original 1960’s pin ball machine in the room.

Continental breakfast

Included is a continental style breakfast on a ‘help yourself’ basis. For guests you receive a fully fitted kitchen available with fridge, freezer, oven, hob, toasters, micro wave, real coffee machine & bean grinder, pots, pans, stylish 1950’s crockery & cutlery, full range of glassware including champagne flutes & glasses. A comprehensive range of breakfast cereals & muesli, vegetarian & lactose intolerant milks, cheeses and pastries.
