    Looking for a care home is not something you look forward to and due to my employment I have visited more than most, so when faced with finding somewhere for dad it was really daunting. After searching on Hertfordshire Online I found the perfect home and it stood out as offering something different so visited unannounced to get a feel for the place. I was not disappointed and decided there and then that this was the right place. The care home is in a class of its own, every member of staff has gone above and beyond to secure a place for dad then support and encourage him to settle and integrate, which has been no easy task. The home is immaculate and the decor is of a very high standard. The residents are offered/encouraged to participate in activities inside and outside and the food is of a very high standard. The residents are treated with respect and encouraged to retain as much independence as possible while remaining safe. The staff have become friends to dad and a great support for myself. Glad we looked on Hertfordshire Online in the first place.
