The relief I felt when visiting my grandmother at the home was enormous. As she says, the home is a home from home. I cannot recommend it enough - every member of staff is caring and compassionate, there is always a smile on their faces and nothing is too much trouble. The Manager is an outstanding and dedicated role model. The residents come first and that is a sentiment echoed by all her staff. The food is nutritional and delicious, the caring outstanding, the welcome always bright and sunny, the cleanliness - well it's spotless, and all residents are shown patience, dignity and respect at all times (even when they are a little grouchy!) Activities and trips out are organised and birthdays and seasonal celebrations are enjoyed by all. A very special home that my family first noticed on Hertfordshire Online website.
